Registration Information

Online Registration will CLOSE on Tuesday, November 24th at 6pm. After that time you will have to register at the Packet Pick-Up at Bojangles' at 6555 Morrison Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28211 between 1pm and 8pm on November 26th, or on Race Day morning beginning at 6:30am and closing at 8:30am Sharp!

Please note that Race Day registration is very limited. Please register early to avoid dissapointment!

Packet Pick-UP and Registration Drop-off on 11/25/08 at Bojangles' on Morrison, 6555 Morrison Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28211
1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Tot Trot fee is $6.00. Children ages walking thru 6 years old will run a children’s marathon distance of 26.2 yards beginning at 10:00 a.m. Children will compete within their own age divisions.

No Race Day registration will be available

All fees are non-refundable. Make checks payable to Charlotte Turkeytrot. T-Shirts are guaranteed to pre-registered runners of the 8K, 5K Walk and Fun Run only and then as supplies last. Tot Trot participants will receive an alternative amenity.

Race Day Parking
Available at the SouthPark Mall.  Please DO NOT PARK AT THE DOUBLETREE OR MARRIOTT HOTELS!  Hotel parking is for hotel guests only!

Awards
Awards Ceremony will be held for the top 3 Male and Female Overall winners and the top Male and Female Masters winners in the 8K race. Age group will also be awarded in the following Age Divisions: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 64 & over.

1 Mile Fun Run Awards - For the first time, age goup awards will also be awarded in the 1 Mile Fun Run for the following Age Divisions: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18.

Race results will be posted as soon as possible after the conclusion of the event at the race site and on the web at www.charlotteturkeytrot.com, on the RMS Website: www.rmssports.com and in Running Journal magazine. The awards ceremony will be held on Roxborough Rd. at 10:30 a.m. on race day. There will be no duplication of awards.

Tot Trot - Participants will receive a special award just for participating . 5K Walk - All participants will receive a commemorative multi-color long sleeved T-shirt; no other awards will be given.

Benefitting
A portion of the proceeds of the Charlotte South Park Turkey Trot 8K goes to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Please...
No dogs or inline skates. Faiure to adhere to the race rules is grounds for disqualification.

Baby Joggers will only be allowed in the 5K walk.  Because of the size of the event we can no longer accommodate Baby Joggers in the 8K.
