Rocktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k

The Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K is a running event that takes place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is a fun-filled event that combines running with music and beer. The event includes a half marathon and a 5K race, both of which take place in the scenic Riverwalk neighborhoods of Rock Hill.

To keep the runners motivated, there is a rock band performing live music near the start/finish line. After the race, participants can enjoy an Octoberfest beer garden where they can celebrate their achievements with friends and family. The beer garden will feature a variety of beers, including some of the best local brews.

This event is not just about the race; it's a full-day celebration of fitness, music, and good times. Whether you are a seasoned runner or a beginner, the Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K is an excellent opportunity to have fun and experience the unique atmosphere of the Riverwalk area of Rock Hill.  It's beautiful!!!

Strawberry Sprint and Stroll 5K & Fun Run

Make the Strawberry Sprint & Stroll 5K your family tradition!

A Fort Mill favorite returns for a fourth year, kicking off the Town of Fort Mill South Carolina Strawberry Festival's week of activities. The Strawberry Sprint and Stroll 5K and Fun Run will take place in Fort Mill's historic downtown corridor on Saturday, April 27.

The course begins and ends on Main Street Fort Mill and includes scenic views along nearby residential streets. The race will begin at 9:00 am, starting with the 5k race followed by the one-mile fun run at 9:45. The race will conclude with the downtown Fort Mill Strawberry Jam, including local merchants, food trucks, music, a kids zone and a festive atmosphere lasting into the afternoon. Berry B. Good, Fort Mill’s cheerful strawberry mascot, and the reigning Strawberry Queens will also be part of the festivities.

The rolling hills of historic Fort Mill create a challenging yet fun course for runners and walkers alike. Wave to neighbors as they cheer you on from their front porch and take in some of the beautiful neighborhoods that give Fort Mill its unique charm. Fun Run (7:30am) – Approximately 1 mile run around Winthrop Lake. No pets are allowed however strollers are allowed. FREE, registration preferred but not required. Fun Run participants, 12 and under, will receive a customized participant medal.

5K and 10K (8:00am) – USATF-certified 5K (3.1 mile) course and USATF-certified 10K (6.2 mile) are on paved streets and bike paths passing through beautiful residential areas. No pets are allowed however strollers are allowed. Water stop at 1.5 mile mark in the 5K race and mile 2 and mile 4 in the 10K race. Refreshments and snacks available for all participants.

3-2-1 Dash for Down Syndrome

People with Down syndrome have an extra chromosome.  That's why this race has a little something extra too!  Runners will cross the standard 5K finish line, then go on to run to an extra finish line to represent the extra chromosome in our friends with Down syndrome.  Runners will be cheered on the "extra" dash by spectators with Down syndrome!

All runners are invited to join us after the race for the World Down Syndrome Day celebration including food, games and bounce houses!

The 12th Annual Run Jen Run 5K and Festival will take place at the beautiful Symphony Park in SouthPark. All proceeds benefit the Go Jen Go Foundation, a non-profit organization providing hope and critical support to families in the greater Charlotte area who are facing the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis.

The funds help cover household expenses including housing, utilities, transportation, and groceries/necessities. Go Jen Go was founded by Joe & Jen Pagani, a Charlotte mom and Ironman athlete who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2014. Her legacy continues as we help cover the day-to-day finances so families can focus on their fight against breast cancer.

Hearts for Heroes 5K

This is a fast and flat point to point 5k race that begins at Tega Cay Elementary School, proceeds in one lane down Gold Hill Road and finishes at Fort Mill Ford. The course is definitely a PR kind of course.  There will be a shuttle to get you back to your car after the race or if you catch a ride with your family or friends, they can park at Fort Mill Ford. 

If you don't want to run the 5k, you are welcome to join us for the 1 mile Fun Run.  Walkers are welcome to do either event. This is a chip race and prizes will be awarded for different categories! 

The Hearts for Heroes benefits the Hungry Heroes and Sonic Automotive Safe Fund.  You can donate by adding to your registration or by clicking the DONATE button.

The Northwestern Turkey Trot is a fundraiser to benefit The Northwestern Cross Country team and The Trojan Club. The Trojan Club supports hundreds of student-athletes in all sports at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC.

Both the 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Northwestern High School’s Cross Country Course. The 1 Mile Fun Run will cover the first mile of the course. The course is run primarily on grass and covers parts of the ATC, Northwestern, and Rawlinson Road Middle School.

Runway 5K

Join us for the 16th Annual CLT Runway 5K. This flat and fast course offers runners and walkers a unique opportunity to run one of the country's busiest airport runways. This run will take place completely on the runway and taxiways. Participants will see planes queuing up, taking off, and landing. This event is one that will be enjoyed by the whole family! You must register as a runner to participate. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult. The race will be limited to 1500 participants. Register early, this event is a sell out!

Proceeds from the CLT Runway 5K will help to fund Airport Opportunity Scholarships with Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) created to promote careers in aviation, as well as economic opportunities in Charlotte. The Airport scholarship will benefit students who are graduates of high schools in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School (CMS) district and are Title 1 eligible. Each recipient will attend CPCC's Summer Bridge academic enrichment program and enroll in a two-year, career-focused degree program specific to the Aviation Department.

Brat Trot

The 3rd Annual Brat Trot 5K is hosted by On Tap, a local tap house/beer bar located in the heart of historic downtown Mooresville, NC. The event will start and end at the tap house, beginning at 9 am and finishing around 12pm.

The event is an homage to the Oktoberfest Festival customary to Germany and will be followed up by On Tap's Octoberfest and Anniversary Celebration! The Brat Trot 5K and Oktoberfest have a few things in common: good beer, good friends and good fun - with the added bonus of a little hearth-healthy exercise before the celebration!

The Brat Trot 5K also benefits the Lake Norman Humane Society.

There will be Dog Adoption on site race day.
