Well, not just yet, but this coming Fall! Charlotte Running Company is excited to announce the upcoming move of our current Dilworth location to the historic Park Road Shopping Center, where we will be transforming the former Bruegger’s Bagels and Caribou Coffee spaces into a completely reimagined hub for Charlotte’s running and active community. Originally opened in 1956 as Charlotte’s first open-air shopping center, Park Road has long been one of the city’s most iconic gathering places, making it the perfect home for CRC’s next chapter.

Situated directly along the 19-mile Little Sugar Creek Greenway, the new space is being designed to be far more than a traditional running store. The new CRC will feature a full coffee bar alongside beer and wine service, creating a warm and welcoming community atmosphere for runners, walkers, cyclists, and neighbors alike. Whether stopping in before a workout, meeting friends after a run, or simply enjoying the greenway, the new location is intended to serve as a true gathering place for Charlotte’s active lifestyle community.

In addition to expanded retail offerings, the new space will also include a dedicated recovery zone focused on helping runners recover faster and stay healthy. Amenities will include a locker room with a shower, as well as a treatment and rehab room operated in partnership with a local doctor specializing in sports recovery and performance care. The vision for the new Charlotte Running Company is to create a destination that blends running, recovery, community, and hospitality all under one roof. We will assume control of the space on August 1st, 2026, with a target open-for-business date around Nov/Dec once the upfits are completed.
