The 3-2-1 Dash for Down Syndrome has become a south Charlotte springtime tradition. Thousands of runners and walkers have crossed the finish line with us. As we get set to celebrate the 14th year of this wonderful race, we welcome you to join us!

Register to run or walk at our in-person event on March 21, 2026, at Symphony Park. Your participation helps raise critical funds for Go Jen Go's Patient Assistance and family support programs helping local breast cancer patients.

NEW in 2026 - all breast cancer survivors, thrivers and fighters register for free! If you are a breast cancer survivor, thriver or fighter, reach out to Carrie@gojengo.org for a code for a free registration.

The event features a 5K, Fun Run, a festival with music, and a family fun zone full of games and bounce houses. There will also be local food vendors, beverages, and community-driven sponsors showcasing their businesses.

We hope you consider participating in our race, to honor a little girl who was full of life until her last breath, as well as support Operation Sweet Tooth to assist children in our community who are less fortunate.

In the spirit of celebrating America’s 250th birthday in 2026, you’ll see a patriotic theme woven throughout many of Troutman’s events this year. The Sprint into Spring 5K/10K will be the first event to proudly showcase this red, white, and blue celebration. 

Join us on 3/7/2026 at 9am at Troutman ESC Park (338 North Ave.) for a 5K or 10K for the whole family. The registration fee includes a t-shirt and a finisher medal for all participants. Awards will be given to the top 3 in each age group. Walkers and/or runners alike are welcome! Must register by 2/20 to be guaranteed a shirt.

Celebrate the BIGGEST DAY IN SPORTS with us and represent YOUR favorite team as the Big Game 4 miler will feature a 4-mile run and a 100-yard kids' dash. The course will start and finish outside the East gate of the Panther's Stadium on Mint St. 

Participants will be HIGHLY encouraged to dress up and support their favorite football team - there will be a costume contest held!! 

The entire event will be football themed. There are 4 downs in football and 4 miles on the course.  Kid's running the 100-yard dash will get a mini football too.

The 2025/2026 S2F Winter Series is here and the swag is better than ever. Register for the series which includes ‘Run, Run, Rudolph’, Charlotte Running Co. Trail Race, and the Charlotte 10 Miler.

The Cupid’s Cup 5K brings runners and walkers together for a great cause. Proceeds benefit Cardiac Rehabilitation programs and patients at Atrium Health locations across the Charlotte area, supporting education, outreach, equipment, and patient scholarships.

Join nearly 1,000 participants in this meaningful community event and help make a difference, one step at a time.

Starting in the Ballantyne Campus, this course follows South Charlotte's McMullen Creek and 4 Mile Creek Greenway along beautiful paved trails. The race will include options for both a 10 mile and 4 mile course. These distances are rare, challenging, and lots of fun! All finishers (21+) will receive a free beverage!

We are thrilled to announce the CRC Trail Race at Anne Springs Close Greenway will be held on January 17th. You will challenge yourself on an incredible course that winds through some of the most stunning natural beauty in the region.

Make Run Run Rudolph a Family Tradition

This race is a great way to celebrate the season as we have a fully stocked hot chocolate and donut bar and we're giving away awards for the best costumes! Participant applause-o-meter will determine our best-dressed winners. What a GREAT way to celebrate the season!!

The second longest tenured community-building athletic event in South Park continues on Saturday, December 6, 2025, marking the 12th Krueger Reindeer Romp 5K, presented by Amwins. Hit the pavement in your Holiday best and make your footprints count in support of the YMCA Better Us Campaign that provides life-changing programs and services for families who need it most.

The foundation of Turkey Dash is family and friends, so we offer a 4-mile timed run/walk and a 1-mile fun run/walk on Thanksgiving morning. If you register for the 4-mile, you can run/walk the 1-mile at no additional cost!

We also provide a "Family Village," with bounce houses and other activities for the kids so they are entertained waiting for Mom & Dad to run. This is also a great place to take pics, just remember to use the tag #TurkeyDashCLT

Last year, Thomas Broom III – a beloved husband, son, friend, pastor, and follower of Jesus – passed away unexpectedly at the Run for LIFE 5K. Although it was not expected to us, it was sovereignly planned by our Father in heaven to be so. On November 9, 2024, God called Thomas home to be with him in eternity.
This year, we will run with renewed purpose: to honor his memory and continue the mission he valued – protecting and celebrating the gift of LIFE for the unborn and eternal life through faith in Christ.

Lace up for a one-of-a-kind race through history! The Drop Dead 5K presented by AvidXchange returns this fall with our unique course winding through the peaceful, scenic paths of Charlotte’s Historic Elmwood Pinewood Cemetery. Covering 70+ acres, this resting place is home to some of the city’s most notable names.

In addition to the 5K, the event features a food truck, DJ, an award ceremony, and a guided tour after the race.

The family-friendly fundraiser will take place at Truist Field, bringing together participants of all ages to run, walk, and build hope for children and families in our community. Whether you're a seasoned runner or joining for the cause, this event is a chance to make a difference and enjoy a meaningful morning with family and friends

Want to help military veterans—and have fun while you’re at it? Then lace up your running shoes to join Fairview Plaza and American Asset Corporation for the Seventh Annual HeroRun to benefit Veterans Bridge Home!

Two races will kick off at 8 a.m., November 1, 2025, at Fairview Plaza office buildings, with a 5k taking you through scenic South Park neighborhoods and a 1k Fun Run keeping you close to Fairview Road. Music, activities, and real heroes, members of all five branches of the U.S. military, will make for a fun, special event.

Since the inception of the Strides for Shelter 5K in 2016, the Canopy Housing Foundation has returned more than $208,000 from the race proceeds to several worthy local beneficiaries who are all working to address the needs of the homeless.

As the sponsoring organization, the Canopy Housing Foundation is the charitable arm of the Canopy Realtor® Association. The Foundation works to create a community where all housing needs are met through advocacy, education, funding and leadership.

The 5th Annual Brat Trot 5K hosted by On Tap, a local tap house/beer bar located in the heart of historic downtown Mooresville, NC. The event will start and end at the tap house, beginning at 9 am and finishing around 12pm.

The event is an homage to the Oktoberfest Festival customary to Germany and will be followed up by On Tap's Oktoberfest and Anniversary Celebration! The Brat Trot 5K and Oktoberfest have a few things in common: good beer, good friends and good fun - with the added bonus of a little heart-healthy exercise before the celebration!

The Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K presented by Riverwalk is a running event that takes place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is a fun-filled event that combines running with music and beer. The event includes a half marathon and a 5K race, both of which take place in the scenic Riverwalk neighborhoods of Rock Hill.
