Hosted by American Asset Corporation and Fairview Plaza, HeroRun brings together runners, walkers, families, businesses, and community supporters for a morning of fitness, fun, and purpose.

Every registration helps support Veterans Bridge Home, a Charlotte-based nonprofit dedicated to connecting veterans and their families to the resources they need to successfully transition and thrive after military service.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, pushing a stroller, participating as a team, or simply showing your support, HeroRun invites everyone to be part of something bigger than the finish line.

Two races will kick off at 8 a.m., October 31st, 2026, at Fairview Plaza office buildings, with a 5k taking you through scenic South Park neighborhoods and a 1k Fun Run keeping you close to Fairview Road. Music, activities, and real heroes, members of all five branches of the U.S. military, will make for a fun, special event.

End your day the cozy way at this year's Pajamas All Day 5K and Fun Run Sunset Run benefiting the Move For Jenn Foundation.

In addition to the 5K and fun run, the event will include a DJ, sponsor and vendor expo with lots of fun giveaways, food vendors, endless activities for the kiddos, adoptable animals, raffles, and more! You do not have to register for the 5K in order to enjoy the festival.

The Rocktoberfest 10K and 5K is a running event that takes place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is a fun-filled event that combines running with music and beer. The event includes an 10K and a 5K race, both of which take place at Winthrop Lake

To keep the runners motivated, there is a rock band performing live music near the start/finish line. After the race, participants can enjoy an Octoberfest beer garden where they can celebrate their achievements with friends and family. The beer garden will feature a variety of beers, including some of the best local brews.

This event is not just about the race; it's a full-day celebration of fitness, music, and good times. Whether you are a seasoned runner or a beginner, the Rocktoberfest 10K and 5K is an excellent opportunity to have fun and experience the unique atmosphere of Rock Hill.  It's beautiful!!!

The Rocktoberfest Half 10K & 5K will be capped for the 2026 event.  There will be NO RACE DAY Registration so be sure to sign up early!  ALL registration ends October 10th, 2026 unless we sell out before hand.

Crisis Assistance Ministry will be our 2026 race beneficiary. Crisis Assistance Ministry serves as a vital lifeline for Mecklenburg County families in financial crisis, providing the essential support and advocacy they need to regain self-sufficiency.

Proceeds from the 2026 Strides for Shelter event will directly fund a major transformation of their Free Store. This initiative will modernize the shopping environment—improving organization, layout, and flow—to ensure that families can access clothing, shoes, and household essentials with dignity and ease. By reducing congestion and creating a more welcoming, customer centered space, these upgrades will provide a more supportive experience for our neighbors during their most challenging moments.

Join us for Claudia’s 5K: Call Out for Courage—a powerful event where fun meets purpose, all in support of mental health. Hosted by icuTalks, a Charlotte-based ministry working to break the stigma around mental health and create spaces for healing and hope, this 5K promotes courage, connection, and real change.

Let’s create an unforgettable 5K filled with laughter, connection, and the shared joy of walking and running for something bigger than ourselves.

 The Charlotte Track Club 5K Showdown, is a high-energy team-based race where run clubs come together to compete for bragging rights. This 5K event blends individual performance with team scoring, creating a fun, competitive atmosphere that celebrates community, camaraderie, and a shared passion for running. Whether chasing a personal best or representing your club, runners of all levels can expect an exciting and spirited showdown 

Join us for the 19th Annual CLT Runway 5K. This flat and fast course offers runners and walkers a unique opportunity to run one of the country's busiest airport runways. This run will take place completely on the runway and taxiways. Participants will see planes queuing up, taking off, and landing. This event is one that will be enjoyed by the whole family! You must register as a runner to participate. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult. The race will be limited to 1600 participants. Proceeds from the CLT Runway 5K will help to fund Airport Opportunity Scholarships with Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) created to promote careers in aviation, as well as economic opportunities in Charlotte. The Airport scholarship will benefit students who are graduates of high schools in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School (CMS) district and are Title 1 eligible. Each recipient will attend CPCC's Summer Bridge academic enrichment program and enroll in a two-year, career-focused degree program specific to the Aviation Department.

Choose from a fun, family-friendly 5k with just a few turns, or a 15k that stretches out across the fingers of the peninsula. Either way, you’ll be glad you got up to run with us!

Join Atrium Health Foundation and the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, September 27, for the Keep Pounding 5K, presented by Rodgers Builders, Inc. Drawing more than 1,500 participants each year, this family-friendly race begins at Levine Cancer Institute and finishes on the field at Bank of America Stadium. 

Whether you run, walk, or give, your support helps advance cancer care at Atrium Health Levine Cancer and Atrium Health Levine Children's in Charlotte. Funds raised support vital research, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials, and cancer support programs that make a lasting impact for patients and families.

The race that started it all is back in Ballantyne.

The Isabella Santos Foundation 5K for Kids with Cancer, presented by Uwharrie Bank, holds a special place in our history. What began as a grassroots race in Ballantyne helped launch a movement that has since raised more than $19 million for rare pediatric cancer research and family support.

Now, the race returns during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month — bringing our community together once again to celebrate progress, honor the children we fight for and continue pushing the mission forward.

Whether you’re running for a personal best, walking with friends or cheering from the sidelines, this event is about community, impact and hope.

In addition to the 5K and a one-mile Fun Run, the event will feature outdoor activities the whole family will enjoy including a kids zone, bites and brews, local vendors, a silent auction and so much more!

All proceeds will fuel research, clinical trials and family support programs at Levine Children’s Hospital and Novant Hemby Children’s Hospital.

The South End Shuffle has a strong history of giving back to the Charlotte community. Each year, proceeds go towards supporting local non-profits, with our primary beneficiary being The Purple Promise Foundation to End Melanoma. This organization is dedicated to raising awareness, supporting patients and caregivers, and funding research for better treatments and a cure for melanoma.

In 2025, the Dan Wade Memorial Scholarship was founded, and was added as a beneficiary of our event. Dan was a dear friend, supporter and participant of the South End Shuffle.

We’re also proud to support West Blvd Ministry, whose mission is to serve the spiritual and physical needs of the families and communities within the West Blvd corridor in Charlotte.

The “Fit 2 Fly 5K” is in its sixth year as the airport’s only run on our 5,500-foot runway!

All are invited to come out and run/walk the runway. There will even be a Kid’s 1 Mile run on the runway as well. Around the Crown 10K Together with Truist is a race rooted in Charlotte from every angle and we're proud to bring the active community together around this beautiful city. ATC10K is focused on being one of the most sustainable races in the country while giving back to the community as much as possible through multiple local non-profit organizations!

This fantastic 5k course winds through some of the most beautiful and iconic avenues in Charlotte’s historic Dilworth neighborhood. And did we mention it’s flat and fast?

The Cannon Ballers Shooting Star 5K is part of the 2026 Run Kannapolis Race Series. This exiting run begins outside of the Cannon Ballers home - Atrium Health Ballpark - and concludes with a lap around the bases and the finish line directly on Home Plate!

Registration includes a limited-edition performance t-shirt (while supplies last) and a game ticket to the Cannon Ballers Starry Night game (August 15th at 7:00PM). All proceeds from the Shooting Star 5K benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

Funds raised support inclusive sports for kids with and without disabilities - past events include basketball, soccer, swimming, and tennis.  We also raise disability inclusion awareness in our community through events such as The Charlotte Knights Community Corner, Charlottetowne Hops, Girl Scout Troops, After School Programs, parades, run clubs, therapy offices, concerts, and disability inclusion proclamations at Town Council meetings.  We have our inclusive week of basketball camp June 29-July 2.  Your participation helps make events like these possible.  And helps us continue to spread our message of inclusion and kindness. 

The annual Healthy Achievement Run | Walk | Ruck event is our Foundation’s signature fundraiser, fueling valuable mentoring programs and inspiring a healthier community as the core and foundation for achievement in all of life’s endeavors.

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the 22nd Annual Run! Ballantyne 8K, 5K, and Fun Run, presented by Northwood Office, returns to Ballantyne.

Running a 5K on Memorial Day is more than just another race on the calendar—it’s an opportunity to move with purpose and honor those who have sacrificed for our country. Participating in a 5K that supports Semper Fi & America's Fund connects the simple act of running with a deeper mission of service, remembrance, and community.
Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States. By running a race that benefits Semper Fi & America’s Fund, every step becomes a tribute to those sacrifices. 

The race itself will take you through all of Catawba Park and about a mile of Baxter Trail. The trail is single track hard packed dirt path. Waterstation will be at 1.5 mile mark. Professionally timed with medals and awards after the race 

Come join us at McAlpine Creek Park on Saturday, May 23rd for our second annual Running Into Summer 5K and Fun Run. The on-site DJ will boost everyone's energy on the morning of the race and all participants will receive an event shirt, bib and finisher medal.
